Apty Assist has the capability of adding translations to various languages for Validation rules and accompanying error messages with the aim to enhance the user-friendly experience of the hosting application. By its nature, Validations are aimed at verifying the format and allowed characters of the user input; therefore, they do not imply translating a large amount of text apart from the accompanying error messages that help a user to correct their input. Nonetheless, there are two types of Validations that allow adding custom rules and may require additional translation effort: Regular Expressions and Custom Validations.

For more information on types of Validators,  refer to this article.

NOTE:

1.   Before adding a new language to a particular Validation, first, it should be added to the application. For more details, refer to Managing Application Languages.

2.    Validation rule (or a set of rules) can be edited, updated, or deleted only when the Frame it belongs to is in the Draft status. Validations cannot be edited or deleted when the Frame is published. To change the status of a Frame, refer to this article.
